Lithium hexafluorophosphate

Formula: LiPF6      

Physical & chemical properties: LiPF6 is a white crystal or powder  with a density of 1.50. It can easily to be deloused, and it will absorb  the moisture and decompose when moisture content is more than 10 PPM.  Its thermal stability is poor. It starts to decompose at 60 ℃, and it  will depose 50% at 180 ℃.

Application range: LiPF6 is currently the most commonly used in  lithium ion battery electrolyte. Its performance has a close  relationship with the battery charging, discharging performance and its  capacity.

Storage and package: keep it in sealed containers; Stored in cool  shade place; It should be stored in inert gas environment, separated  from moisture and heat. Storage pace must be locked; It must be stored  away from incompatible materials, such as the oxidant

According to the laws and regulations, the package must be corrosion  resistant materials. So it can only be stored in the original container.
